During the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five theme park apps on iOS in the United States showcased interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look at how these apps fared over the quarter.

My Disney Experience demonstrated robust weekly revenue figures, peaking at around $145.8K in mid-April and maintaining a consistent range between $100K and $145K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a notable high of approximately 62.4K at the end of March, followed by a steady pattern around the 55K to 61K mark. Active users were stable, starting at 224.6K at the end of March and reaching 229.9K by the end of June.

Disneyland® saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, starting from $26.6K in early April and peaking at $38.7K at the beginning of May. Downloads followed an upward trend, with a significant rise to about 59.4K at the end of May. Active users also increased, starting at 106.4K at the end of March and reaching a high of 138.8K by mid-June.

Universal Orlando Resort did not generate any revenue during this period. However, its weekly downloads showed a steady increase, starting at 38.4K at the end of March and maintaining a range between 32K and 36K towards the end of the quarter. Active users exhibited a stable trend, beginning at 104.1K at the end of March and slightly decreasing to 104.1K by the end of June.

Six Flags also reported no revenue but experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at around 42.5K at the end of May. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting from 59K at the end of March and reaching 94K by the end of June.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ did not generate revenue either. Weekly downloads saw fluctuations, with a peak of approximately 30K in mid-April and stabilizing around 24K to 27K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a general increase, starting at 39.4K at the end of March and reaching 42.6K by the end of June.
